Mavin records is pleased to announce the signing of two of Nigeria’s most promising producers, BabyFresh and Altims beat. The talented duo are part of the new wave of music makers making their mark in the continent and beyond.

Both producers have worked with the cream of Nigerian talent including D’ Prince, Don Jazzy, Wande Coal, Sound Sultan, Muna and many many more. But now both have found a home in Mavin.

Altims Beat, born Aluku Timothy, started out as a rapper in his days as a Computer Engineering student in University of Benin. He decided to move behind the microphone after testing himself to improve the contemporary sounds he was hearing on the radio. His rich fusion of afrobeat and hip-hop ensures that he will remain at the top of his game for a long time.

BabyFresh, Sunday Enejere, has a signature sound which has made him instantly identifiable amongst music aficionados. With an eclectic mix borne of different music genres, BabyFresh has already stamped his trademark on dozens of hit singles.

The CEO of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy, has welcomed both of the young producers to the Mavin family by hailing them as the “leaders of the next generation.”

“We older ones are not getting younger,” the Mavin boss joked. “It is a relief to have some young legs and minds to help our project. BabyFresh and Altims are fully activated and I promise there will be many new names for activation soon.”

Kuddos to Don Baba J!
